Outlook Express
Before you can set up Outlook Express to handle your web site's mail, you will need to obtain your outgoing mail (SMTP) address. This will usually be something like mail.btinternet.com or smtp.virgin.net.

If your ISP does not appear in the list of SMTP addresses, you will need to obtain you SMTP address as follows:-
Open Outlook Express
Click on Tools and select Accounts
Click on the Mail tab and then on the account that you normally use to send mail
Click on the Properties button and select the Servers tab
Your SMTP address will be listed along side Outgoing mail (SMTP);
Close all windows and exit Outlook Express
Once you have obtained your SMTP address, you will now be able to set up a new mail account for your web site.
Open Outlook Express
Click on ' Tools ' and select ' Accounts'
Click on the 'Add' button and select 'mail'
Enter your display name e.g. ID Computer Services
Enter the email address you wish to use, e.g. mail@idcomputerservices.co.uk
Enter your incoming mail address. This is your domain name, e.g. www.idcomputerservices.co.uk
Enter your outgoing mail address, e.g. mail.btinternet.com
Enter your account name and password as supplied by your hosting company or ourselves
Once you have finished entering the above details, click the Finish button
Close all windows and exit Outlook Express
You will now be able to send and receive mail using your web site. identity.
